Ashley Boarman is a public relations counselor and an account supervisor at Landis Communications and has ten years of public relations experience. She serves as a key member of the day-to-day client services team and has a proven track record of securing high-profile placements in publications such as CBS Sunday Morning, FORUM with Michael Krasny, the San Francisco Chronicle and The Wall Street Journal.
To Ashley, being in PR means being the ultimate “utility player.” She sees every assignment – penning a byline, interviewing a thought leader, brainstorming with the team, leading a media training session or engaging with influencers – as an opportunity to make something special. Plus, she’s keenly aware that none of it matters without metrics to assess how PR translates into quantifiable business results.
Prior to joining LCI, Ashley served as a senior account executive for MGH, Inc., a mid-level integrated marketing firm in Baltimore, The Kennedy Krieger Institute, and Washington, D.C.-based high-tech PR firm, DPR Group. Her media relations expertise has helped myriad clients gain momentum in the press, including Carrington College, Dolmen Property Group, Global Alzheimer’s Platform Foundation, Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford, Native Trails, McCormick’s Old Bay seasoning, NorthStar Memorial Group, Save the Redwoods League, Tripping.com and Troon Pacific.
Ashley graduated magna cum laude from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Arts in mass communication with an emphasis on public relations. In her free time, she loves hiking her favorite Marin County trails on Mt. Tamalpias, training for disaster preparedness as part of San Francisco’s NERT (Neighborhood Emergency Preparedness Team) and Instagramming her latest Marina adventures at @ashleyjagoda.
