Judy brings over 20 years of experience in marketing and public relations, for both agencies and corporations, and has provided communications counsel in a wide range of industries. She has created and implemented strategic communication programs to introduce new products and services, revive tired brands, increase awareness and credibility, and launch entirely new categories. She is privileged to work with some of the world’s most prestigious brands, including Starbucks Coffee Company, Starbucks Ice Cream, Lindsay Olives, Gap, Wild Oats Markets, Cold Stone Creamery, Golden Gate University, The California Pistachio Commission, Wine.com, San Francisco State University, Self Magazine, Chevron, Microsoft Home Productivity products, Discovery Channel Stores, Netflix, Ebates.com, The SETI Institute, The Fish Markets Restaurants in Northern California, Wells Fargo Bank, Hoffman La Roche, San Jose Medical Group, California League of Food Processors, and Mervyn’s department stores among others. Judy’s tenure in the non-profit sector includes work with the Yosemite Fund, The League to Save Lake Tahoe, and the Marin Community Foundation. She has also worked extensively in the wine and champagne sector, having created and implemented public relations programs for Seagram Chateau & Estate Wines Co. brands and conducting crisis management planning for Simi Wines. For six years, Judy served as regional director of public relations at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. Based in San Francisco, she supervised programs in nine hotels and developed public relations and marketing initiatives to support the opening of five Ritz-Carlton hotels. She also conducted several crisis management programs. Judy has won two Golden Bell Awards from the Hotel Sales & Marketing Association for her work on behalf of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co. As a manager, Judy has supervised budgets up to $3 million and a staff of 20 professionals, nationally and internationally. She has managed multiple crises, developed new business, created public relations departments, led award-winning teams, and taught media and public relations seminars. Judy’s experience also includes work for Monterey Regional Water Pollution Control Agency, California Coolers, The Christian Brothers, The Fairmont Hotels, Ugly Duckling Rent-A-Car, 24 Hour Fitness, Pier 39, British Airways, Honda Power Products, The New Zealand Government Tourism Office, and The Azure Seas (the first three- and four-day cruise line), among others. Judy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from California State University at Fullerton, CA and earned a Secondary Teaching Credential from California State Polytechnic in Pomona, CA.
