Introducing PRGN Partners Alessandra Malvermi and Andy See Teong Leng

public relations global network partners

On this week’s blog, we get to know two of our Public Relations Global Network partners – Alessandra Malvermi of Sound PR, Italy and Andy See Teong Leng of Perspective Strategies, Malaysia.

Alessandra Malvermi, Sound PR

What is one personal item that people might not know about you?
I like hiking and spending time outdoors whenever I can. I also practice Qi Gong each morning.

What are your favorite cities and countries?
New York, San Francisco, Vienna, Paris and Venezia in Italy.

What is life like at home?
My husband, Matteo, is also my partner in our business. We kill two birds with one stone!

Do you have a second-in-command at the office? Who is it?
Yes! It is Giulia Serazzi, who has been in Sound PR for 10+ years.

What is your most memorable PR campaign?
In recent years, one of the most successful PR campaigns has been «Train & Run with The North Face» that won the C4F Davos Golden Award in the “Community of the Future” category.

Andy See Teong Leng, Perspective Strategies

What is one personal item that people might not know about you?
I cook occasionally because it helps me relax. I don’t follow recipes! I just grab whatever I can find in the refrigerator and mix it up. It is like an experiment! Truth!

What are your favorite cities and countries?
My favorite country to visit for a holiday is Japan. Great food, super clean and beautiful people! The U.S. (minus the painful Visa application process and super long flight) comes in second!

What is life like at home?
Spending time with family and close friends are most important and enjoyable for me. Weekends are dedicated to my wife and our two boys, catching our favorite movies together besides hanging with our close friends over dinner parties at home.

Do you have a second-in-command at the office? Who is it?
Yes, and most of you have met her! May Lee is my business partner and she has been instrumental in helping the firm grow since she joined the firm.

What is your most memorable PR campaign?
An interesting one perhaps that I can share is the Durex sexual and reproductive health campaign. I had presented this to PRGN folks when I first joined. It is interesting because we actually turned down the client more than once before the Marketing Manager persuaded me to reconsider.

I’ve always wanted to visit Vienna – while humming the Billy Joel song, “Vienna Waits for You.” Thank you Alessandra and Andy for the travel tips!
